So, I felt I should write a short mail explaining what is going on these days.
First of all, we now have over 40.000 indexed blog posts, 183 different users, and we’re growing quickly these days.
The forum has started to show some signs of life, and I have gotten a lot of interesting feedback for the LinkLaunder system, all of which have started to be implemented.
Here are a few things which I’m working on, in no particular order:
The plugin
- Removing the footprint
- Improving the speed of the plugin
- Improving functionality
- Making the interface much cooler and nicer (The WordPress 2.7 gives new options for design)
- A better uninstall system
The core server
- Optimizing for speed
- Optimizing the algorithm for finding better/more relevant links between users
The site
- A new forum is being tested (by request from a user)
- Better statistics for the users
- A way to give users the option to decline backlinks if they deem them irellevant (by user request)
- A new theme is being located, which better presents the information and feel
And a range of other small details/things which overall helps the speed and functionality of the system.
I’m very happy with all the feedback I’ve gotten, and I would like to send a greet to the users who actively participate with ideas and comments. Thank you again.
